On-Ramp to City Build

It is one thing to not be aware of current and forthcoming job opportunities. It is a completely different dilemma when you don’t meet the minimum qualifications for even entry level positions. An overwhelming number of residents in COO neighborhoods live this reality everyday. In partnership with our Department of Economic and Workforce Development we have created employment On-Ramps to San Francisco’s developing and growing job sectors (Green Tech, Construction, Hospitality, Transportation, and Retail). On- Ramps are the creation of hundreds of transitional employment opportunities designed build workplace skills while removing barriers to employment (GED, record expungment, drivers license, work experience, vocational training). On-Ramps leverage preexisting public works projects and neighborhood clean up efforts to ensure a positive and meaningful experience for the population and the broader community.
